People seem to have short term memory loss. The 23 colorado/canyon was also delayed when those first came out. They also didn't have to deal with the strike.
Since day 1 of the NA Next gen ranger announcement people knew the 2.7 was going to be job 2 following job 1. That hasn't changed even now.
The web page was already updated to say Late winter availability for the 2.7l prior to the strike. Given the delays, job 2 will definitely be early spring now.
The e-shifter is required for the pro parking assist feature. Not sure if that is a standard feature on lariat, but on the XL with the tech package you get it.
Yes, but they are already passing legislation to reduce ICE engine use, and promote EV's. Typical of government they do things backwards most of the time.
Also, I like your attempt, but they didn't restrict/outlaw steam engines or horses and carriages while ICE vehicles were becoming a thing...
EV's require better battery tech, as well as the electrical grid to support them. Most places in the U.S. don't have the capability to support charging a ton of EV's at the moment.
It is the epitome of putting the cart before the horse.
Makes sense, some of these were built after Ford got a new/additional supplier for the valves. The newer engines use a different supplier, and do not suffer from poor heat treatment/different alloy, which made the valves brittle/prone to cracking.
All that matters is if someone likes the vehicle. I don't like the looks of the gladiators, so I don't get one. Looks are subjective though, so to each there own.
GM still seems to have electrical problems, which have personally plagued me and a friend in the past. That is why I don't go for GM. That and the waxed frames.
Toyota's non union made by robots vehicle quality seems way better than Fords union made by humans vehicle quality.
I know some people hate reading that, but it is true. As technology advances, people will be phased out. This isn't the first industry to go through this, and it won't be the last.
