  1. Should we just get a Tacoma?

Generally all announced trims being available is considered a full launch, as options are optional (Go figure). You diverted the point originally, but that is fine. This thread will be here when the strike ends and rangers hit the lots fully. (Just a few have already.) You were the one telling...
  2. Should we just get a Tacoma?

No, the top 2 Tacoma trims are only available with the 2.4L I-MAX. TRD PRO and Trailhunter. This has been known for a long time. So, by my logic it is not the same thing.
  3. Should we just get a Tacoma?

For the first part, I am saying you are assuming Tacoma's will be available before the ranger purely on speculation, which in another post you ridiculed, and said stick to facts. I only pointed out that it wasn't a full launch to drive the point home. For the second part, I had to reread your...
  4. Should we just get a Tacoma?

The old gen is not the smallest by far. Take your own advice :) Apparently you don't know that only non hybrid Tacoma's are the only ones hitting lots in December, which is still quite a few weeks out. You just assume (pretend) the strike will not end until after October?
  5. Has production started on any 2024 Rangers?

I get your point, but it doesn't change the fact people will struggle and lose things NOW. I am not arguing. You have it easy just having to wait longer for a truck you don't need to survive.
  6. Has production started on any 2024 Rangers?

There are also repercussions to others jobs. If only it were so simple...
  7. No Intelligent ACC/Lane Centering for USA

It was pretty clearly defined in the Advanced tech package imo. The online builder says it all.
  8. UAW Strike moved my build date

When I said one week, it was in relation to them finally getting adjusted. Last adjustments were around 8/12/23. Now that they have been adjusted, each week of the strike should move the dates right 1 week to match.
  9. UAW Strike moved my build date

It will now start moving 1 week at a time until the strike ends since 9/25 was the "Job 1 start".
  10. Tray Style Floor Liner

The 2022+ floor mats are a lot better then the older ones. They really fit well, and have pretty deep sides. I also 2nd the less carpeted floor mats option. Really no point to the carpets if you have the mats. I guess some people may put the carpets in during the summer? Seems like a waste to...
  11. Jalopnik reporting no PHEV for US

They aren't going to announce something for the U.S if it isn't coming until 2026+. They always keep that stuff under wraps that far out. There is a ton of planning involved before they will publicly announce/confirm something. Just look how long it took for the next gen to be confirmed for...
  12. Jalopnik reporting no PHEV for US

As it is, the article states ROW doesn't get it until 2025. I fail to see the hoopla currently...It is still currently 2023.
  13. Jalopnik reporting no PHEV for US

Per usual, it will come to us after the other parts of the world. That is how it works generally with new releases in a new market. Start off simple, and build up after production gets under way.
  14. Jalopnik reporting no PHEV for US

All those extra options will come eventually.
  15. Tech Package now changes the appearance?

It is just a CGI error. I am willing to bet they aren't commiting many resources into fixing something that minor at the moment.
  16. Jalopnik reporting no PHEV for US

As it is, Australia won't see it until 2025. NA would get it even later then that (Probably 2 years, so 27/28), and Ford generally keeps hushed on things that far out. I like the Tacoma, but I wish the hybrid towed more than 6000lbs. They really dropped the ball on that imo. Plus I feel the...
  17. No Ranger Scheduling This Week (9/21/23). Job 1 Now 9/25.

That comes down to politics, and is way outside the scope of this form haha.
  18. No Ranger Scheduling This Week (9/21/23). Job 1 Now 9/25.

Why do they get 48/hr to do that job? People who do jobs that risk their lives make less. That is what I disagree with fundamentally. I agree that pay is proportional to the job. Also, machines are proven to be more consistent. A human can't repeat a task with the same precision as a machine...
  19. Test drove a Canyon AT4X and …

After all of the electrical problems I, and friends have had with Chevy/GMC vehicles, I will never buy another.
  20. UAW Strike moved my build date

He is talking about the Hybrid Tacoma's.
