@stuartmunto I donāt see a Module Reset under the chip icon, I do see a Module Reboot under the wrench icon (I have not run that ). I also figured what my previous disconnect was; I didāt āstopā the BCM configuration module.
I downloaded the most recent version of Forscan today, got an extended license, and attempted to change the BCM value for my tire circumference from 2408 to 2558mm. It seemed to Write ok (engine off) and it is the only change I made.
After power cycling the truck, the Check Engine light...
I have the factory PPF. If I were to do it over, Iād do aftermarket full body PPF. I recently got 3-scratches on top of the hood 2-4in from the windshield side due rocks thrown by a tire.
Hi,
If you are running on stock wheels, Iād be concerned with UCA rubbing. A wheel with +35mm offset or 1/2ā wheel spacers would resolve this concern.
Which engine do you have?
I just did a 545mi trip from Wasilla to Valdez, AK and back. The Glennallen Hwy is built over muskeg and volcanic rock. Parts of the highway shift throughout the year and make the road very rough. I put the FX4 suspension through the wringer a few times, even got a...
Well, when I put 32ās on the day after I bought the truck, Forscan didnāt recognize my 2.7L engine so I couldnāt set the calibration for the 1ā larger tires. Since then, Iāve noted that Google Maps, my GPS enabled dash cam, and the highway radar signs all match my indicated speed, even at 75mph...
Nice truck.
Honestly, I went from 31ā tires to 32ā tires without a Forscan recalibration and I canāt find any indicated speed differences from roadside radar, GPS, or indicated speed up to 75mph.
Ford reps no longer follow this site regularly. They posted and stated that.
As to the Ford J Brace availability, I made an appointment for this Thursday with the local dealer to have the kit installed. When they called to confirm and stated that Ford would not cover the cost, they told me that...
The problem I have with these legitimate kits is that there are too many options within the kit without enough explanation. Iāve reached out to the US sales office about getting more specifics, but they are clueless. One of concerns is that I have the 2.7L engine and I like the ride quality of...
Make sure the dealer actually has a Raptor allocation; make them show it to you. If they donāt have an allocation, they are going to have to trade with another dealer for it. I waited 4mths last year (order placed on Motherās Day, 3wks of that was transport to Alaska); I donāt know what the...
I had the 2.3L in my 2021 Ranger Lariat. I have just over 5kmi on the 2.7L and Iāll take the 2,7L over the 2.3L all day long, even with the 4mpg hit in gas mileage. As others have mentioned, very smooth, very spirited, a pure pleasure to drive.
I had a very modified Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I sold for the Ranger. No regrets as my needs have evolved. The one thing you should consider is whether or not you want or need front lockers. If you do, the Ranger Raptor is the only trim level with front lockers.
