  1. undercoating/rust proofing

This is an issue. The first yr I got mine I went through many car wash during the winter & most, if not all, had the spray under as you drove in. Well, in the spring I was looking under the truck & there was no more oil/film. Since then, I make sure the car wash does not have that under spray...
  2. Shots Fired! 2024 Toyota Tacoma vs 2024 Ford Ranger Comparison by Toyota

WTF was all that??? I mean, my FX4 is 80% more truck then I actually need.
  3. Pushed Again....

Ordering! Oh boy! I can't wait to order a PHEV! On EV's, the tech is moving fast, remember this is relatively new implementation. This is similar to when the pc's came out & look at how fast it changed, the speed of graphics card & the price drop of memory & still going. The grid may not be...
  4. 2025 Ranger PHEV Hybrid Revealed w/ Pro Power Onboard, 28 Miles Range, Arriving Early 2025 (Europe/AUS)

I'll be looking at all manufactures that build a PHEV. Whomever does not build one, won't be in the running, therefore won't get my $$$. What they show here looks very interesting.
  5. 1st run

Does not mean a thing if it was made a yr ago. Look at the R5G, It has been made for yrs before being made here in Michigan but the HVAC issue with the blend door was snafu. It took them about 6 months before they fixed it. Different subcontractors with different part. First yr will be riddled...
  6. Report: PHEV Plug-in Hybrid Ranger Launching in Australia Next Year, Followed by U.S.

An interesting site... Not sure if this was posted yet? https://insideevs.com/news/670052/ev-price-parity-after-2030-ford-ceo-jim-farley/
  7. Report: PHEV Plug-in Hybrid Ranger Launching in Australia Next Year, Followed by U.S.

2020 XLT FX4, 40 k miles as of today, stock, well taken care of.
  8. Report: PHEV Plug-in Hybrid Ranger Launching in Australia Next Year, Followed by U.S.

That will be 10k more up here. Maybe the trade in will be really good? An extended warrantee may be a good idea on this one. I've never done that.
  9. Ranger6g was scooped!

I was on Ranger5g just now & @AzScorpion posted a PHEV for 2024 from Ford Authority. I stay away from those sites cuz too much is BS & just for clicks. Is FA mostly hot air or are they fairly good. Not great when they quote a forum. EDIT: I see it was posted here too.. lol, I should have...
  10. Just did my build-and-price. WOW, are these things pricey!!!

Wow! That's over 60k for us up here, nuts. I'm really interested in a PHEV but I think they can keep their truck.
  11. If you're leaning Colorado, consider this.

New vehicle, new problems. Never buy first yr! But someone has to & I thank them.
  12. Ford Missed The Boat

PHEV, the only reason I would look at a 6G & trade.
  13. Official: US Spec 2024 Ranger + Ranger Raptor Debut on May 10!

You could be right, no PHEV, but I'm not interested in a BEV as I want to use this truck with trailer to go to NWT, Yukon & Alaska. To me a PHEV would be awesome as I could use the battery for when I'm around town & ICE on long trips. So, your probably right.
  14. Raptor Ranger Pre-Sale (100 Limit) Begins in Argentina Ahead of May Launch

I need to win the lottery. 48k cad for my FX4, no way will I pay more for any vehicle. If a PHEV ranger comes out, I'll have a look but I doubt I would trade.
  15. Already own Bronco - What Ranger model would you chose?

Nice 2 door Bronco, I like that better then the 4 door. XL with locker after that not sure of your needs. SCAB or SCREW, kids? Sounds like your going to be using it more as a utility vehicle, so cheapest with locker would be my choice.
  16. Spotted: 2024 Ford Ranger Crew Cab Long Bed!

After buying the SCAB the wife said we should have bought a SCREW. If I buy a pickup, one of the reasons is the bed. So, this is interesting & add PHEV to that. Just read today that there might be 30% more/extra lithium produced this yr. Will prices come down??? Ha ha ha...
