You’re sharing the truck anyway with another driver, so not like you’re losing time. I’d rather hoon around with my wife than some rando.

I know how you feel. My wife bought a Ranger Raptor and I was bummed at the cost for a guest so I ordered one for myself and now it's free me as well !!!Hey All,
I was quite disappointed to find out it costs an additional $1,500 to take a guest to the RR assault school. I find that price quite steep for a one day experience with no other accommodations included (besides a meal).
I previously had a 2020 ST that ended up being a lemon after only 6 months of ownership so I never got to attend that school either- but bringing a guest was free and they provided the hotel. What gives with the RR school being so drastically different in terms of cost? It's very hard to justify $1,500 for one day when it would cost us that in travel alone (east coasters).
Just disappointed in Ford on this aspect. Wish they would allow a guest to come for free like they offer in their other experiences- especially if the guest is a registered owner of the vehicle.
You beat me to it. I was wondering if the other performance schools are setup to where you have the car to yourself and then adding a guest isn't displacing another driver or requiring an additional vehicle. When I did the Raptor Assault in 2019, we shared a truck and swapped out time to time. So your 'Guest' would also be another driver with you. From reading all the faq’s, it sounds like you’re sharing a truck with a second driver and trading off either way. So by bringing a driving guest, they just replace a different attendee as your truck partner.
Yes, it’s steep. Yes, I bought it. Wife could use some off road driving experience and we’re just making a vacation out of it.
Also, Johnny 5 wins the thread. I like your style.
