maybe if they have Balance shafts. The sixes have a miss fire on every second rotation. It's just a fact.
Ford had a balance shaft for a few years on the early 4.0 SOHC V6. Apparently, they decided it was not needed and dorpped it around the 2001 to 2002 period. Mine does not have one and I don't see how it could be any smoother.

Around 80 mph, I do get a slight vibration but I am very sure it is something in the drivetrain. I had the front driveshaft off for a while when I was waiting for a new one and that vibration was totally gone.

enjoy it! I don't think you'll have any issues at least before 100,000 miles.
