2.3 ford performance oil separator

Ordered the oil separator from ford part number M-6766-B23. This is for 2024 ranger 2.3L. Simple as it can get to put in 5 minutes to get it done.

I live in Ontario as well. Is there any concern of the separated moisture freezing and impeding the PCV system? How often do you have to empty it?

I check it every 2 weeks. It might be about 1/4 full in 2 weeks, usually less. I haven't noticed any concerns about freezing yet. But thus is my first winter with this truck.
