We are almost 1 month away from Ford performing their annual price increase on Extended Warranty products. Normally, we have prices released by now, but no word yet. I would anticipate a larger than normal increase this year given the impact inflation has had on the cost of repairs.

No, it is based on the warranty in-service date so we cannot start the purchase until the vehicle has been reported sold to Ford.

I haven’t even gotten a build date and this pops up. I hate this part of getting a new vehicle. I’ll just live with my factory warranty and if my ranger breaks after the warranty ends then I’ll just have to pay to fix it.
I could never get myself to pay for something I’ll probably never use.

I'm not necessarily here to sway people into or out of the idea of an extended warranty, but try to offer the best pricing for those who do believe in the value of it....but, I think there's a great argument to be made in an inflationary environment that you're locking in repair costs rather than paying inflated prices 6-7years down the road
