2024 Ranger Manuals

Deleted member 6753

Printed Manuals are now available for purchase:
https://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?Make=FRD&Model=RANG&Year=2024&Category=&class_2=FRD&mk=Ford&yr=2024&md=Ranger&dt=&module=&from=result&Style=helm&Sku=RB3J19G219RSC&itemtype=N

Oddly, Ford has not yet made the Digital Versions of the Manuals available:
https://www.ford.com/support/vehicle/ranger/2024/owner-manuals/

So, you can't have your new Truck built yet, but you can purchase the Manuals and then read all about it
:)
Ok ordered mine, I may actually read this one.

Are we sure this won't be included with the truck? I know most are digital these days, just want to know before I waste $40.

My Dealer told me that the Manuals provided with the new Trucks are Digital only, and come loaded into the Sync System, and will be accessed via the screen in the dash.

That is okay for reference, but not so good for those of us who wish to read the Manual and thus learn about all of the new features & tech. So, I decided to purchase the printed Manuals.
I'm so glad there are others out there like me who like to "read the manual". People in my circle think I'm a freak doing that :) Thanks for posting this...

I always read the manual to any car I own. I guarantee there are features you learn about in there that you would never find otherwise.

I feel like having a constantly updated electronic manual in the center stack is awesome as it allows you to search for things right away and it’s always with you. Ford also makes digital copies available online to look through or download. This frees up my glove box for more stuff like my first aid kit.

For the price we're paying, it should be both digital (in the headunit) and physical (in the glovebox).

It could be a real headache if your car is dead and you need to reference something in the manual without having the foresight to have downloaded + saved that reference on your phone beforehand. Or maybe you are without a phone or it is dead.

Ordered and received the manuals from this site and what I got was a “Supplemental Owner’s Manual” and a “Quick Reference Guide”, neither appear to be the detailed “Owner’s Manual” I expected or what is referenced in the “Quick Reference Guide”.

digital is cool. i hope they actually make the manual specific to the vehicle options rather than the generic "if you have this engine this is what you need" approach like the paper ones do.

I have to agree. With digital manuals, though the ones I’ve seen so far are just a pdf of paper ones, you should never see the phrase ‘if so equipped’.

Unfortunately it's extremely unlikely the Ranger Raptor will ever come in manual.

The lack of a complete physical manual has been an ongoing issue for me since I bought my MY22 Next Gen Raptor last year in Australia. My vehicle came with the printed Quick Start manual (which has nothing of value in it), and the in-car digital manual which didn't work as Ford had left a manufacturing firmware installed on the Sync system when delivered!
Ford Ranger 2024 Ranger Manuals 1000000602

The dealership could not fix this, and it took 4 visits to the dealership and a Ford field tech to fix this over 4 months.

I was in contact with Ford Australia throughout, but their response was less than useless, as they kept telling me to use the digital manual either in-car, or online.

The online manual is HTML, not PDF like previous models, and as such CANNOT be downloaded and used offline. This completely stuffed me as I don't have internet access where I use the truck! Additionally, the way the HTML manual is set up, it is slow, and almost impossible to page through back and forward in the usual way a paper or PDF manual is used.

And if you want a vehicle specific version of the manual, I hope our US friends are better serviced, as the VIN filter which is supposed to present only relevant information in the HTML manual doesn't work; I get the manual for both the standard Ranger as well as the Raptor.

Ford Australia's response to multiple requests for a downloadable or physical manual has basically been "buy a copy from your dealer" but as the OP has stated, this is just the abbreviated piece of toilet paper they call the quick guide. Save your cash, don't buy it!

I still feel extremely bitter and let down by this subpar response and situation that we don't get a proper paper manual with what is Ford's premium vehicle in the line in Australia. At least they should be able to generate a PDF as they have for other models.

I hope you get a better response in the US.
