Has anyone had trouble with the throttle sticking at start up. Tried to start the truck remotely did not start. 10-15 minutes later Started it with the key, it immediately revved to 4000 rpms, turned the vehicle off. Waited a few minutes did the same thing several more times.
Had it towed to the dealership (2)days ago, they haven't even looked at it. My concern is that may not do it again because of all the time that has passed.

That is not one I've heard of before. Your dealership should be able to diagnose it. Hopefully anyway. Keep us posted.

Fortunately I've not experienced that either, hope it's an easy fix.

I have not had that issue. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

Dealership couldn't replicate the problem. Checked it over said everything is good to go.

While i don't have the 2.7 this same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago, the truck wouldn't start i kept cranking it a couple different times, finally it did start and revved high i immediately shut it off, and it did the same on a second try, after a moment of frustration not understanding WTH was happening i then noticed that i had placed the floor liner back (after cleaning it) incorrectly and pressing up against the accel pedal like flooring it.
I'm guessing the truck sensed the pedal was floored and wouldn't let it start, my shuffling feet must have moved it from floored to half way down and that's when it started and scared the bleep outta me.
So an embarrassing moment but lesson learned.

That may have been the problem. I'll have to be more cautious when cleaning it out.
