Hello All US Next-Gen Ranger Raptor prospective buyers!

With Christmas around the corner and a long weekend of Thanksgiving turkey, I can't help but sit here and form my wishlist of how I will spec my Ranger Raptor first chance I get. As of now, we know Australian/Europe options. Wishlist can include speculative options/options offered on current F-150/Bronco Raptor.

My list as of now:
Color: Conquer Grey

Options:
  • 17" Forged Beadlock Capable Alloy wheels
  • Power tonneau cover
  • Moonroof (wish/speculation)
  • Power tailgate (wish/speculation)
Lets see your wishlists!

Paul Maric has a great spec:

Lets see your wishlists!

  • Rear seat that folds down completely
  • Crew cab 6' bed option
  • This is a weird one - chrome bumpers without having to get the chrome package (I don't like painted bumpers)
  • All LED lighting (no Halogens)
  • PHEV option (this is what will make me trade my 2019)

This is a tough one for me. I have been amazed by Raptors from the beginning. Kind of my dream vehicle, but the the F-150 at 80K is not in my budget. Not sure what the Ranger Raptor will be but probably 60K. That might be doable but time will tell. Just seeing a Raptor in my driveway will be a bucket list item crossed off my list. Granted I will never use it to it’s full capabilities but knowing what it can do would be awesome for me. I am not a fan of Toyodor and knowing that I have one of the most badass vehicles made would absolutely make my world better. Obviously, in my fifties this is a want not a need but damn would I love pulling up to a Prius and let them a$$holes look in their rear view mirror and see the big, bad F O R D filling their view.
Maybe, just maybe 😊😊😊😊

Front end with bumper more like the raptor instead of the RoW front end.
2.7 ecoboost

Really just want something to comparable with the new canyon AT4.

Everything I have in my 22 Raptor minus moon roof.

upgraded tech package
18 speaker B/O sound system
Front Torsen LSD
Maybe Blue Cruise but honestly the lane keep assist in the current Raptors basically drives for itself already.

Most of the other stuff is already confirmed, 3.0 V6, equal length exhaust, all the raptor modes, remote start, BSM, 360 cameras.

PHEV for me also with the addition of Pro Power On Board generator. Last article I saw concerning PHEV said we would likely see it in 2025. Since I would not buy it the first year I will likely trade my 2020 for a 2026 or 2027. That gives me lots of time to figure out a solar system to charge it.

Would love an option to change the Code Orange accent color to something else or a less loud color. Code Orange in the interior for me limits the outside color choices. Wouldn't go with a hot red exterior and then have an orange accent inside. White, Blue or Silver are my options given the interior color. The GT500 Accents allow for a wider palette of exterior colors.

Yeah, Pro Power on board generator would be a go to item for me as well. I did not want to buy first year either so we are thinking around the same timeline. I was hoping it might be 2025 (they introduce the PHEV with the initial rollout) but I'm not holding my breath at this point. I'm really happy with my 2019 - I had my last Ranger for 13 years.

OK, Aus not North America but I would like:
  • Seat cooling (already comes with seat heating)
  • Head-up display
  • 240V power in the cab and tray (our standard power is 240V
  • 160lt fuel tank
  • Attachment points for roof bars
  • A bed that actually seals against water and dust
  • A phone hang-up button on the steering wheel (you might laugh but just keep this one in mind for when yours arrives)

Seat Cooling for sure - I forgot about that one - that would be AWESOME
And a bed that seals better would be a welcome addition too

Hopefully trading in my '17 Focus RS. Sync 4, B&O sound system, less aggressive bolsters on the seats. Every woman I've dated hates the bucket seats in the RS.
