The 2025 Lariat is a nicer truck than 2026 Ford put the base XLT lights on the 2026. The 2025 Comes with allot better headlights than the 2026 and more features standard and 1,000 dollars less than the 2026 with the cheap headlights. The 2.7 V6 is so much smoother than the 4 it's really impressive compared to the 4. Ask for more hit them up for dropping the fee most dealers will if you're serious.

Always best to weigh one deal against the next without the tax muddling the water, since sales tax isn’t really anything we can escape , negotiate with, just part of any car purchase.
‘Every state has different taxes and fees, so hard to say where your deal is with tax included.

Well they have me on their radar as interested, so we'll see how motivated they are. If they drop the price even more, I might just bite. I am having a hard time giving up my tuned 5G though.

I usually shop just in state, locally, and have a long history with this dealer because they are so close, small and convenient. So if they can make a deal close to anyone else around, I will prefer them.

Oh I get it that’s good .
I was meaning from a comparison standpoint , unless someone on here happened to also be from your state and knew the taxes involved , it’s hard for us to help when we don’t know what part of that total was the truck and what part was tax.
That’s all.

Basically I can’t tell if that’s a good or a bad number since I have no idea what part is the truck and what part is tax.

Based on those numbers the dealer is already losing money. If you wait too long Ford will eventually drop the $2k "Bonus Customer Cash."

I'd go and do it now if you want the truck.

I bought my 2025 Lariat 2.7, black package for $46,500 out the door in august last year.
If you actually want the best deal you can get, go to a "volume dealer" thats trying to move as many vehicles as possible for Ford kick backs, luckily there is one 2 hrs from me. After 3 months of looking and negotiating when i was looking for one, this is what I found about ford dealers. The dealer my father in law works for couldn't even get close with D plan and discounts included. I didnt even have to negotiate that 46,500 price at the volume dealer, it was advertised.

OP to be clear this guy got a great deal but the $46k is not including tax, tag, fees per another post by BigOleOrge. Just want to be sure you have realistic expectations. Also wanna note his MSRP was $52.7k and yours is $56+ so some napkin math:

OP 56.4k MSRP + 4.5k TTL - 52.5k = ~8.4k off.
BOO $52.7k + 4.5k TTL - $46.5 = ~10.7k off.

Both very good deals but I'll note Ford's incentives have gotten worse on 2025s after new year since they're moving on the 26s soon.

All Very true. $46,500 was an awesome deal. Congrats!
‘I see this sort thing especially in large volume stores in large metro areas especially down in Texas.
‘I see that sort of thing from Texas Metro area dealers more than anywhere else.
‘I am sure there is other hot spots for dealers focused on insane volume and living on kickback program dollars to make it all work.

I checked all the dealers I would be willing to drive to, big or small. This truck was a standout. I am having an internal battle, as I don't really need it, and still enjoying the 5G. But yes, there are many upgrades the 6G provides, I am sure I would not regret it.
