The Tacoma lacking sales is likely from how horrible the truck interior is. I sat in one at the car show and compared to the Ranger and Colorado/Canyon, it's a huge step down in terms of looks, comfort, and room. The price certainly isn't helping it either. Granted I'm biased, but Toyota interiors stagnated in the early 90's, and never recovered after their atrocious early 00's designs.

Ever sit in the back of a new Camry? Neither can my kid. The headrest pushes forward into the back of his head so much that his chin almost touches his chest. Total shit show, IMO.
I noticed the same thing, the Tacoma seems down market compared to the Ranger.

Raptor MSRP needs to go up a bit before there's room for a Tremor between a spec'd out Lariat and the RR.

Current Lariats can go up to ~$52000 i think. With the 2.7 coming in that will bring the MSRP ceiling closer to $54000. I think the Raptor sits around $55000 with no markups, right?

I'm gonna guess that RR creeps up to $60-65k range and the tremor will get slotted in around $57k, when they decide to release.

I'll bet minor changes for 2025 due all the issues in Jan an Feb adding tremor in 2026 and maybe the platinum trim in 2026 or 2027
The Tremor was a hot seller for Ford, why wait two years to add an off-road package above the FX4? It’s a matter of swapping out a few parts, not a major to-do. I’m sure there are a bunch of people like me who would buy a factory off-road package (with valid warranty) and not deal with having to spend the time and money on their own build. ~$4k well spent in my mind and not having boxes of like new OEM parts laying around either. Ford is leaving money on the table every day they are not offering a Ranger Tremor. Bronco sales are down double digits (%). Now is as good of a time as any.

I understand your reasoning but my money is on 2026 and I hope you are correct but as it was said above the 5G tremor was 3 yrs. into US production. It will definitely be more than a $4k option most likely closer to $5k. All just a guess.

My money is on a Tremor in ‘25. They didn’t wait that long before the Wildtrak, Wildtrak X and Tremor were introduced in other markets. I agree that the price tag will likely go up as well which would go along with aftermarket prices. Still a bunch of bang for your buck considering all the reasons I previously listed.

The current Ranger Raptor is a relative bargain if you can get MSRP on one. Ford will not let that kind of foolishness continue, so you can guarantee a series of significant price increases on RR in the near future.

Tremor would end up being a viable alternative. Hopefully, they omit that goofy-looking fake roll bar from the US market. Otherwise, it looks pretty nice.

This is what I think. They are going to create way more of a gap between MSRPs of the Lariat & Raptor before they add a Tremor. The addition of the 2.7L this year already gets the prices very close as it is.

I'm sure that will be omitted - along with the grab handles all around, rear vents, and 3rd brake light on the tailgate vs. cab.

This seems like a likely strategy. Especially given what Ford did with the MSRP on the Bronce Raptor shortly after release.

Upon further review, are there not grab handles over the rear doors, though?
