2025 Neutral Tow Instructions Help

Hi, I recently traded my 2020 Ranger for a 2025 Ranger 4x4 Lariat 2.7L. I flat towed the 2020, so I am familiar with the enabling Neutral Tow BUT the instructions in the 2025 Owners Manual don't seem correct or I'm not interrupting something in the instructions right.

On page 374 Step 2 of Switching Neutral Tow On directs me to page 185 to Place my vehicle in temporary neutral tow mode.

On page 185, after Step 2 of the Entering Temporary Neutral Tow instructions a note indicates "An instructional Message appears". No message is displayed. Step 5 directs "Press the manual (M) button." My Ranger does not have an (M) button.

Would someone please enlighten me?

You don't want temporary tow. Towing flat instructions are in a different place. Wish I could be more help but don't remember exactly. I have the instructions from the owners manual for towing book marked on center screen.

Step 2 (3 in link below) that directed you to page 185... 2025s don't have the electronic shifter.
