I priced out a 2025 Lariat today identical to a 2024 I had priced out and the 2025 was the same. They did change from the 3 year Connected Navigation that was in the 2024 to a 1 year on the 2025. I guess that was their price increase.

Also I drove an XLT and the fabric front seat felt narrower to me so I measured them both to find out it is indeed a couple inches narrower than the leather seat in the Lariat.

The third thing was when I did the build and price on the 2025 Lariat it shows the mechanical shifter in the picture where the 2024 shows the shorter electric shifter. There was 2 2024 Lariats side by at the dealer and one had the electric and one had the taller mechanical shifter. Is Ford discontinuing the electric shifter and they are starting that now in the 2024's or was this just a manufacturing mess up?

i'm not an expert but wasnt' ford removing the active park assist thingy? And doesn't that require the electronic shifter? If so, then maybe they changing lariat to have same shifter as XLT?

Ford is eliminating the park assist feature across the board and consequently the electric shifter in the ranger lariat will be gone in 2025. I'm really surprised to hear that a 2024 lariat has the non-electronic shifter because that would mean it doesn't have park assist, which is an advertised feature on the 2024 lariat.

Thanks for that reply and that make sense. I wasnt aware of that feature going away but I am good with that. I didnt really like that shifter anyway, I thought it was a little touchy.

No big loss on the onboard Navi. Android Auto with Google Maps or Waze is better, free, and always up to date. Plus, I can look up a location on my phone or PC, save it to 'Places I want to go' and it will show up on screen when I connect my phone.

The shifter in my '24 Lariat 4X2 is the mechanical one. I think the electronic shifter was found in the 4WD versions, at least for the '24 model year.

Correct. 2024 Lariat 4x4s have the shorter e-shifter and the 2024 Lariat 2wds all have the taller mechanical shifter.

Go to ford’s website and use the “build your own” tool for a lariat 4x2 and look at the interior pictures. Then select 4x4 from that same page and look at those interior photos.
