Haven’t used my truck in the mud or the trail control I’ve had it in snow about a foot deep on the stock tires and I pulled a Amazon van out with it I was shocked coming from all diesel trucks I was extremely impressed 24 XLT fx4

Look's like a good first test. That would be the types of trails i wish to go on.
Would like to keep the Truck's Body work Dent and Scratch free. Maybe a few years down the road
I will scratch it up.

I am having my Ranger Built. I considered the Paint Protection Film. If it covered more then the Hood and front fenders I would have had it applied. May do some small mud flaps. Although sometimes those can get ripped of. Will try to find some film for lower down on truck and running boards.
I have not seen a kit for the Ranger. Off road trucks if taken in dense bush get side panels scratched from front to back.

is the whole trial similar to those pictures? just wondering since those don't really look like 4wd trails and look more like just dirt trails.

not trying to be rude, just asking since those pics remind me of trails in north carolina around camp lejuene and georgia around and on fort benning where we just took the 2wd trucks on to go to places.

I was thinking of getting a shop in my area to do a full ppf job but not sure what it will cost. Yet

The trailer varies most 2/3s of the trail is mostly like the pictures but the outer 1/3 has a lot of loose rock the size of base balls and softballs and it's on the side of the mountain we a steep drop off and the brush gets right up to the edge of the trail and there no room to pass onx off road rates the trail a 2 but the last part is a 3 from what outer people say
And it technically a jeep bage of honor trailer but I my self do think it deserves? That title.

Oh, cool. Thats sounds better, the rocks and steeper areas. Where my parent's, live in leakey texas, there are lots of steep rocky trails. Those can be fun

I have the factory PPF. If I were to do it over, I’d do aftermarket full body PPF. I recently got 3-scratches on top of the hood 2-4in from the windshield side due rocks thrown by a tire.

I am on my limit of affordability on the Ranger i ordered. Would like to PPF on the areas of the panels that take the abuse. When i do get the truck, i may go over the underside of the truck with some good rust paint. Do a coat over the seams and bracketry that are exposed. I do not live in an area that excessively salts the roads. Fairly mild where i live. The open metal surfaces i would like to spray. things like drive shaft and CV shafts. Does anyone one know of an after market PPF kit. You can get the ford one but i would like more coverage hen just the hood and front fenders.
protect the seats with good washable seat covers. i am hard on interiors. My after market add ons will be rock sliders. i did not order the running boards. Want more protection. You need a low slung rack over the roof line. Just use my T bar for SUP's. The bed may not have enough room for gear for 4 people. Get a roof top bag and use when needed. May do a Softopper and a bed rack. No interest in RTT. I look at those un trucks and ask myself is that really worth having for the amount of time you would use it. More weight and poor gas mileage.
