My wife didn't want to level her truck from the front. She wants to keep the front ride hight and lower the rear to match. Has anyone done this or attempted it.

From what I understand, the rear suspension is compatible with the older 19-23 Ranger parts. So finding shackles should be easy.

I have seen many posts about leveling but I'm not really understanding the reason. Is it just cosmetics? once you put a bunch of stuff in the bed shouldn't it even out? I assumed that's the point so you dont have sagging bed when the bed is loaded with shit.

yes, for people who will be carrying a load or towing. since most people use a truck for lighter weights or not even actually carrying heavy stuff, leveling is very popular.

i hardly ever tow, and when i do, its not a heavy tongue weight so i can have my truck leveled and not worry about the headlights pointing at the sky.

That “reverse level” is how I did my 2020 F150 and I loved the 2”” drop. I don’t believe shorter shackles will work correctly on the Ranger. The shackles have to swing back as the spring lengthens under load and they are pretty short already. I hope someone proves me wrong. Also, you would need to check your pinion angle. It would probably require wedge shims to avoid vibrations. Good luck and let us know. I’m very interested.

Thanks for that :like: But that kit is front lowering also just looking for 2" in the rear instead of lifting. I will have to look at the rear shackles to see what can be done. Or maybe have some custom rear springs made.

Are there any blocks between the spring pack and the pad they sit on?
