I doubt that they can amend the order. What I believe is more likely to happen is they will still build that vehicle and ship it to the dealership. However, if in the meantime you've worked with the dealership to build another one the way you want, they'll void the original bill of sale and write another one. Your change to the original order was, after all, predicated on information that you received from Ford!

That's true, maybe I could use that to finagle not losing my deposit... but we'll see! I'll see what the salesman says and if it seems like a fight I think I may just let God take the reigns and take the no sun roof.

Funny, situations like this sometimes come back to haunt me. I often wonder if I fight for the sunroof, if one day itll leak like hell and I'll regret that choice forever hahaha.

I know what you mean. I talked myself into a Nautilus (when I really wanted a Corsair). The radio cuts out when going under trees (leaves are the issue, I guess) and the volume doesn't work on certain drives. Even though I got the code from Lincoln, the dealership says that it has to happen to them for them to address the issue.
