2.7L availability

was told today at Chicago Auto Show the 2.7 will be late fall of 24....they had fit issues with V6 in new ranger lot of truck we all seen in those lot pictures are 2.7s they are to be scrapped he says....WOW

Everything I've seen and heard is late 24 or early 25. It definitely won't be spring.

The raptor has different dimensions which could explain that. Probably a few extra inches in the engine bay.

Could be since the fenders and wheels are pushed out, so the inner fenders could be pushed out also.

Looking at the pictures there are Raptors in the lot also.
I agree statement is questionable.

So I found these 3 videos on youtube that talks alot on the 2.7L design, reliability. I know nothing about the guy and he's saying alot of the same things I've seen else where. Also in one of the videos he talks some oil stuff, I copied the chart and posted it as info. I think the guy is trust worthy. Anyways, I think its 3 good videos to watch and learn about - it was great info to me. Luckily, the current 2.7L is the 2nd Gen version which corrected the issues in the 1st Gen version engines. Sounds like there are minimal issues/concerns as long as it is well maintained with oil and filters, etc., changed in 5K mile intervals according to him.

the 2.7L V6 is now orderable on fords build and price. It requires the 4x4 version, not available on 4x2

Anyone in Canada able to order the 2.7? My dealer tells me it can't be yet despite it showing on the build options on Fords website and seeing others able to place it in the US.

I ordered my 2.7 Lariat on May 29th. Your dealer is misinformed.
