So, you're going to keep your wife and not have to drive a Chevy? Win win.
Apparently so. My wife is from Wisconsin and not from Missouri, but she said she believes it when she is sitting in it at the dealer lot. Meanwhile, I am already looking at Borla exhaust, tonneau covers, XPEl PPF and window film, a J&L catch can, an S&B CAI, Rhino spray-in bedliner, undercoating, and rust proofing, and other ways to spend relatives' inheritance. Hate to trade in the F150 but that is life.

Holding out for a push start on the XLT.
That could be at least another year out.
It didn’t happen on the 26 model.

If you don’t mind leather seats over cloth, with rebates and 2025 pricing you can probably get a 25 lariat for the same or less then a 27 model XLT assuming they finally add it in 27.

Good point. I (well, my wife) decided to avoid the 2026 MY altogether (was going to get a Raptor) due to color choices and paying more for less given Active-X vinyl replacing leather in the 2026 Lariat. I am trying to secure a 2025 Lariat in the color and packages I want now, as the pricing is favorable and the rebates are there. The Supreme Dealer, Farley Ford of Dearbornistan, might be waiting for a full refresh to make major model muscle movements but Ford's better idea rarely includes owner/buyer input. We shall see how 2026 sales pan out. In the meantime, could use more variety in aftermarket MODS/accessories and looking forward to acquiring and driving a Lariat with a V6.

Looks great. Solarmax?
Yea, but didn’t really need it. It’s eventually going to be covered up with a bed rug when the ARE topper comes in.

How much did they charge? We bought a rubber bed mat when we found out that the few Rhino Liner installers in MT wanted $800 for the tiny bed.

About $685 Out the door.

Around here Rhino is the only name brand bed liner, the other 3 places around town use less know branded products and all charge around $500-$600 pre tax.

I asked about the price and it’s mostly labor.
$400-500 of it is the labor if factored at $100 an hour.

I had my 2nd Gen Cummins lined earlier this year and it took right at 4hrs, and the Ranger took right at the same 4hrs. I waited on both trucks and their projected 4hrs was pretty much spot on.

I asked about it since I thought the smaller mid size 5ft bed would go a lot faster than a full size 8ft long bed. I guess the labor for, minor disassembly. Masking and surface prep is pretty similar regardless the bed length.

Don't know why Line-X folded the tent in Wichita, as they did my trucks with premium and also under coated and rust proofed for $1500 in 2021. If you do all that with less than 1000 miles the warranty is lifetime. My dealer paid half as part of the deal. Other than Rhino, I know of Phoenix, across the street from the former Line-X dealer. Phoenix is a Texas company, not well known and fewer installers. Looked at the chemical composition and it is similar to Line-X. I plan to go Rhino Solarmax. Never used a Bedrug, just a Ford rubber bed mat when on sale and a tonneau, a Retrax MX Pro. Why Bedrug? I deal with Toppers Plus for that stuff and what is now called Sun Stoppers for XPEL PPF and XPEL window film.

Disappointed.. No red option again for the Raptor trim... The Ranger Raptor was the truck keeping me thinking about a mid-size, but was holding out for red, sunroof option, and ventilated seats(last not a deal breaker).. Guess I'm sticking with a full-size Silverado ZR-2 or RAM RHO.

I originally entered the market for full-size as I've always been in one, bumped into a RR ad and was intrigued. I just can't fathom red not being an option for a performance vehicle.

Still a great truck and value...
you might want to do some research on the RHO before buying. While they are nice, they are also plagued with some pretty crazy problem. I’ve seen one where the side curtain airbag on the driver side deployed for no reason. Guy is having to fight ram to fix it under warranty because ram is saying the truck was involved in a rollover (it obviously wasn’t).
