Disappointing. Appears the MSRP will go up for not much of anything and, in some cases like Active-X vinyl on a 2026 Lariat, less. Will watch the Long-McArthur deep dive video coming out on Friday and then it is time to get a used low mile 2024 under warranty or cut a deal on a new 2025. As of 10-16-2025, per Trucar, Nationwide there are 5, 832 unsold 2025 Rangers (not including @ 15% dealer hidden vehicles in the system window stickers), of which 385 are Raptors (again, @ 15% dealer hidden window stickers).

It's extra crazy when you consider how expensive the Ranger already is. Guess Ford still isn't interested in market share unless you're talking F-150.

I'm very disappointed. Not only did we not get ventilated seats, but a downgrade to ActiveX. Not even perforated.

I might just hold off or get a Tacoma which offers ventilated seats.
Yea, looks like the Raptor is now the only way to get real leather seats in 2026.
I am glad they didn't do that to the Raptor.

I am curious what they do to the Lariat pricing.
Would seem it should go down if they are cheapening the content.
Odds are if anything it will still go up.

A Lariat with a 2.7 would still be my second pic. to the Raptor.
But the I have always been suspecting that if I were to do a deep dive into the residual factors of the Lariat vs the Raptor, that the Raptor would easily net out with the cheaper TCO.
So, in my mind the Lariat would really need to be more then 3-4 grand cheaper than the Raptor to ever make any sense to go with the Lariat over the Raptor in the grand scheme of things.

@cc1999 You don't just have resale in TCO, you have Raptor maintenance (*tires*), insurance, interest on the difference in purchase price, fuel economy and more.

Wait, so still no moonroof option on the Raptor, but it's available on lesser trims??
Yep, seems like that is the case.
Crazy as it sounds.
That's why I say I don't think any of the members that expressed desired changes for 2026 got anything they asked for. The only people I knew asking for a Sunroof were all Raptor people. LOL

I know, I have 50 some vehicles in my business fleet, and half dozen personal vehicles.
I am betting there is at least a solid 10K difference in the residual values of a like mileage and condition Lariat vs a Raptor used comparison.
Yet only 3-5 K difference on the purchase price.

That other 5-7K in deprecation that lariat model will likely be faced with, would pay for a lot of fuel, tax, and interest and still not likely makeup that entire differential. I am not sure there is much if any insurance difference. My insurance is really pretty cheap on my RRs I really can't imagine the Lariat would be much cheaper.

Disappointed.. No red option again for the Raptor trim... The Ranger Raptor was the truck keeping me thinking about a mid-size, but was holding out for red, sunroof option, and ventilated seats(last not a deal breaker).. Guess I'm sticking with a full-size Silverado ZR-2 or RAM RHO.

I originally entered the market for full-size as I've always been in one, bumped into a RR ad and was intrigued. I just can't fathom red not being an option for a performance vehicle.

Still a great truck and value...

Ford slowly deleted any Raptor color in the line up. Another gray.

Glad I have my Velocity Blue.

@cc1999 it is tough to say with how new the truck is still. Also you have to consider the MSRP difference is $9k for a 4x4 Lariat, then you have a $2k Lariat rebate running now, so you're at $11k difference, not $3-5k. Plus maintenance (*tires*), insurance, interest on the difference in purchase price, fuel economy and more.

You have to compare a fully loaded Lariat to the Raptor for a true apples to apples price (minus the moonroof), not the starting price.
