2026 XLT, 301A Package - Heated mirrors?

Country matters. At least it did for 2025. My Canadian XLT 301a has heated power folding. Doesn't have the heated emblem on the mirror, but they definitely are. From what I read, the American one didn't come with the option. I always assumed Canadian and American models would be the same, but they're not.

Curious if anyone out there with an XLT has heated mirrors, or if someone can confirm that only Lariats with power folding mirrors get it? Thanks!

Was speccing out a 2026 XLT for my grandson recently and apparently neither power-folding, heated mirrors nor heated steering are available options on the XLT, they are ONLY available on the Lariat and Raptor. Suppose we are back to supply chain issues yet again, my 2023 Lariat didn't even have the heated steering or auto start/stop options because of them. Didn't miss auto start/stop at all though. And no I didn't order it until he gets back off deployment, I'm thinking he really wanted those options in Fairbanks.

Probably referring to the mirror mounted turn signals. I think they lost them for 2026.

It's really starting to sound like with Ford if you want all of the options you need to buy the first year model of the new release. Because they just take something away every year after that.

Odd; my 2025 U.S. XLT 301A does not have mirror mounted turn signals. Maybe dropped for '25, leaving '24 with all the features (save for D.I./P.I. on 2.3L)? It's all so confusing.

I could be wrong, but I think it was only the lariat and raptor that had the turn signals on the side mirrors and those are gone for 2026.

as long as the truck is prewired to the mirror plug in the door, you can add the heated glass, and use forscan to enable it. I have a thread about it. and 99% of the part numbers needed. 1 part number for 4 pins is all I need to find.

2025 301A xlt high does have power fold puddle lights, heated, and turn signals. unless yours is a late 25. 26 is when the dropped the turns from the lineup

Mine does have a build date of 12/25, and I do not have the turn signals, puddle lights or heated mirrors, though I do have the power fold.

Not only did Ford make changes mid-cycle, they changed things within a model year. Even more confusing. You never know what you're going to get!

you dont have a 301a then. you have a 300a. even in 2026 the 301a high still gives you heated mirrors mirrors in canada. my cousin in my dealers parts dept even confirmed this.

There is no question that my '25 does indeed have equipment package 301A.
There is also no question that I do not have puddle lights or mirror-mounted turn signals.

Heated mirrors is a trickier question though, since there is no indication of that function (no "wavy lines" heat icon, no button), though I haven't tested by turning on the rear defroster.

It's still odd that there are elements of the 301A package (and likely others) that are not documented in the Order Guide, and that change mid-cycle. You never know quite what you're going to get.

Again, as already mentioned, I think we are looking at the difference between USA and Canada rangers.
