I test drove a number pf gladiators but they are just to long. Jeeps needd to make somethibg like a comanche again. My 85 comanche was great amd went anywhere.

It would be awesome if the dakota was jist a smaller gladiator, like maybe a single cab

For sure the Gladiator long in wheelbase. I'd like a shorter version with a v8.

As long as it’s not hideous looking , they will also likely have my money too. Lol

I had a Gladiator for a few years and loved it. No issues with it and it was a super fun truck. I needed to tow a large travel trailer, so I sold it and bought a Ram 1500 Larmie. The Larmie was terrible. The AC was super weak, the heated and cooled seats were super weak. Just about all the amenities were not well exicuted. Plus, the engine took a shit at 40k. I had to get it and the transmission rebuilt. Luckly under warranty. Then the ball joint popped out of the upper passenger control arm. Thank goodness it happened while I was in a parking lot and not on the road. All that to say I just traded in the 1500 for the Ranger (I sold the Trailer). It would take a lot for me to go back to Ram after the 1500. But it is always nice to see more options.

I will say the one good thing is it seems like Ram is more likely to directly compete with the RR. Tiny TRX with at least the hurricane 6 seems plausible. Maybe hemi one day.
