+25 Offset Wheels - any issues?

IF I switch to a +25 offset are there any issues? It looks like the tire may be out past the fender flares. I am looking at the Rousch Wheels. Thanks.

I think you might be asking for a use case that is a Ranger. Not a Ranger Raptor. I have +25 wheels on the stock tires but have not installed them yet. Will do that around April 10. My guess is that it will have a bit of poke but the tread of the tire will be within the Ford factory mud flap.

I have +25 offset wheels with the stock tires and have no rubbing at all. I’ve done some light off road adventures- nothing to crazy, but no rub at all.

Posting these pictures as a follow up, to be clear, this is a Ranger, not a Raptor, these are 18 inch wheels with +25 offset and 8 inch. Tires are the stock tires that come with this truck.

+25 offset method 707 on xlt w 2” level. 275/70r17. A little poke but plenty of room. Will do at least 285 on my next set of tires.

Nothing really new that @scout didn't already share with his pics, but felt like mud flaps on white had a way of really accentuating the inset, and the +25 Roush rims gave the flush look without really poking.

Helped break up too much black/dark grey while flowing with the skid plate, and hub centric as well.

This is the exact question I’ve been wanting answered. Anything new to share? I have a Ranger Raptor and looking at these wheels with a +25 offset. I would be running them stock.

The +10 will stick out 0.6" more than my pic above, and you'll get the look where the tread it flush but sidewalls poke. Get 106-93 hub rings too.

Saw both. I was answering your 2nd question, on what offset you could get away with stock without running into issues. The +25 is ideal (to me) but you could get away with +10 ... which wouldn't be far different poke-wise, then the guys doing 9" wide rims with 305s.

Zero rub. With the +25 vs +55, I want to say with the change in scrub radius that the handling is barely different, maybe ever so slightly more feedback and pronounced jitters on road surfaces. Almost have to be in Sport mode suspension and steering, and know what to feel for. There are more than a handful of folk reporting lug centric wheels may introduce a little wobble, so definitely do get hub rings just in case as mentioned.

Definitely not as smooth as stock which is buttery smooth, but nothing like changing the offset on a 2G or 3G Tacoma by -30mm, which just makes those trucks wander.

Thank you for the advice. You mention the handling is barely noticeable unless you’re in sport mode and know what to feel for, and also mention it’s not as buttery smooth as stock. Are you considering handling and smoothness to be the same thing? Or are you saying handling is practically the same, but the smoothness is actually noticeable?
