405 Days Later...

Ordered my Raptor on May 30th of last year and finally got the call yesterday. I know I could have found one on the lot in the meantime, but I wasn't in a huge hurry. Got it for $1,500 under sticker after the pre-order and Farm Bureau rebates. Can't wait to get some miles on it and start the mods.

What specifically did you see in the paint?

Finally - it will be worth the wait, I hope.
Make sure they remember to install your antenna (probably in the glove box) and adjust the tire pressure to spec.
Ask to see the hood close easily and that the doors close/latch without slamming them.
You've probably had time to see a lot of the things others have found on some of our trucks though this forum.

I did do a pretty thorough inspection based on what I've read here. Found the tailgate was slightly misaligned, the black vinyl on the passenger side B-pillar had some bubbling, and there was spatter on the driver side running board. Doors and hood were all pretty well-aligned and closed relatively easily, no complaints there. Sounds like I need to look the paint over a little closer still.

Grads, Just got the emails that mine shipped after order day of 7/2/23.
I couldn't wait though and bought one already. Stinks since there were a few things on mine that I would have liked to have had that were missing.
