I think we know exactly why the new RRaptor is priced the way it is... $35 cheaper than the AT4X :like:

My thoughts exactly. The only extra things I can see that the 4x gets is power passenger seats and heads up display. Those aren't available from Chevy.

ZR2 seems like a bargain at this point lol
If Tacoma doesn't impress, think I'll have to land on the chevy.

I am in the same boat. I currently have the new Bronco and looking for more room as an overlander.
The ZR2 is really good for the price. 52K fully loaded with all the options and even has exclusive features not available on the raptor such as cooled seats. Raptor is 58K with shipping, and by adding the Lux package and all the tech it will be 62 at least. That’s $10K for essentially just a more powerful engine over the ZR2. Hard pass for me.

I am waiting to see what the new taco brings but it will be expensive, and it will have the poorest suspensions of the bunch, with small tires. So that’s even more cash grab.
Also waiting to see the Bison.

Idk I built a zr2 and it hit 60k pretty quick.

The zr2 isn't fully loaded as I presume the raptor will be. Assuming raptor option of tricoat paint, graphics/sticker, and dealer add ons.

I built one with everything except for the Desert Boss Special Edition package and it came out to $52.9k
Mind you i even kept the underside cameras, sunroof (raptor doesn't seem to even have this option), and a bunch of extra options. The desert boss package just isnt worth it to me.

I don’t think there’s any question that the blue oval will cost more than the bow tie. The question is how much more?!?!

Considering the starting price of $34k for a 2024 RWD XL crew cab is about 10% more than last year’s equivalent, I wonder if you could just build a ‘23 the way you want your ‘24 to be, and then add 10%. Would that give you a ballpark figure? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just built a 23 Tremor Lariat and at 10% additional that puts it right about the starting price of a Raptor. That doesn’t seem right but maybe it is…

Yep. I built an XLT FX2 SuperCrew with towing and 302A, and it came to about $39,000. So add 10% and it’s about $43K. But I would likely opt for the 2.7, so add another $18-2000 and… Well, wow. 😬

That's tremor level and not a raptor competitor.

Similarly equipped I expect the ZR2 and the Raptor to be very close on price minus the dealership vig.
