8” vs 12” gauge cluster - differences?

So what is the difference in the gauge clusters besides size?
Does the 8” just have have blank moldings on the sides?
It was one thing that may make me to maybe jump up to the Lariat.

12" cluster:

no confirmation that the USA will be the same as the RoW but that is the assumption I'm making for now. the 12" seems to offer a ton of useful info, but both seem pretty customizable.
