A couple people asked that I post how I mounted my pistol in my truck. I drilled no holes. The mount moves back and fourth with the seat. It does not rub, and for an easily accessible gun, it is fairly well hidden. This is not for everyone.
I use an Sig 9mm 365x Macro, but you can use your favorite pistol as long as there is a holster for it. The only holster I found to work is from Dara Holster. Mounting option is ball only and mounting side is right.

I also purchased these 2 items from Tackform.

Find a bolt the will fit into the forward hole of the 2 small holes under the seat. One pic is passenger side without bolt, the other pic is drivers side with mount and bolt. You will need a washer that the bolt goes thru and is larger than the hole on the mount. About 1/2” long bolt should work. This allows the seat to move in all directions. Make sure the bolt only barely goes thru the hole. Only snug the bolt up for now.
Take the 7” long dual socket (see pic below) and put one end on the mount and 1 end on the holster. Snug everything up and move the seat in all directions till you have it adjusted exactly how you want it. Then tighten the bolt and adjustment arm.
Approximately 30 minutes to install. Cost is about $130.
Cheers!!!
