Actual cost of 2.7 in the 2024 Ranger XLT

Does anyone know the actual cost of the 2.7 in the 2024 ranger

I don't think this has been established as of yet, but I would expect it to be the similar to the Bronco. So around 2,200 - 2,500 would be a good guess.

Not yet, but for a 2024 Bronco it is $2145. So if not the same price most likely close.

This is the main thing I'm looking for. As much as has changed between the 5G Ranger I have and the 6G Ranger, there's not enough difference between them with the 2.3L in place.
The 2.3 is a great engine, I just want a little more power.
If I can't swing a newer Ranger, I'll probably tune my 2.3 in my current truck.

2.7 Lariat with FX4 and tow package. Guesstimate is $54,000. MSRP.

This is my situation as well. I tuned my 2019 Lariat and did some other minor mods, leveling lift, tires, etc. I love my truck as it is now, and the 6G really is not enough of an improvement to justify trading up--until there is a Ranger Tremor with a 2.7 on my dealer's lot!

A 2.7 Ranger Tremor would be cool, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen because they'd rather push you into the Ranger Raptor and get another $10K out of you.
Could be wrong though. I was wrong once before. That was a memorable day.

My guess is that the RRaptor MSRP will climb every six months to make room for a 2.7 Tremor at some point. The same thing happened with the FRaptor where they found they could name their price and still sell them and then it opened up room for the Tremor.

In other words, a 2.7 Tremor doesn’t make sense with a $58k Raptor. But if the Raptor was successful enough that it climbs to $62-$68k then there’s room for a 2.7 Tremor at $55k

Well, if Ford wants to push me into the Ranger Raptor, it won't have to push very hard...

The 2.7L V6 is now orderable in fords build and price. If you planned on a 4x4 version the V6 is $2,195.00 extra, it's not available on the 4x2 version at all.
