Hi all,

I added a 12V power outlet, which has been removed on 2025 RR models. The work took about $20 and 30 mins. I figured there had to be a cheaper way to get this done instead of paying $200 for a 2024 panel. Just had to add a pair of compatible pins to the harness. I will be upgrading cable quality and length soon, but my intention was to prove this solution was possible.

I can’t seem to find it but it appeared to me that on the 24 the bed led light was not part of the harness and it Is on the 25?

and do we have a source or part number for that pin?

Not sure why you think it is not available for purchase. I was able to find the part in multiple places. Here is one: https://dealer.parts.ford.com/shop/...ltage-power-socket-panel-p-n1wz19a464br?pdp=y

you should be able to place an order.

and yeah, looks like the 2024 part is just plug and play
There's another thread about someone having added a power panel from a '24 to their '25 and the part number they said they bought was N1WZ-19A464-AC. I searched for that part and it is marked as "discontinued" nearly everywhere, and the few that took my order cancelled it within a day saying that the part is discontinued. That led me to think it was discontinued :)

The part number in your link is similar but the trailing "br" is different than the "at" in the part number I mentioned above. Does anyone know what it means? Or are we sure that the "br" part that is in stock isn't the power panel for the 2025 Rangers?

There are apparently a couple of variations, not sure which is which

but when i was trying to track this down a couple of days ago I ran into this diagram a few times and it seemed to indicate the bed light #20 in the 2024 was in a separate cable versus the 2025 which has it as part of the cable.

so what was mentioned earlier is the correct part. "19A464" is the part number for the power panel. The "AC" or "BR" suffix on the end is the product revision.

As it went from A to B, that is usually a more significant revision. If it went from AC to AD for example, that would be a minor revision that could be functionally identical, but maybe they changed their injection molding process for example.

Unfortunately what is likely the case, is that the "B" revision of the part dropped the 12v plug altogether. Someone would need to get their hands on one to confirm. There will almost certainly be revisions made to the part in the future, but it's a total unknown as to whether the 12v plug would come back. I personally wouldn't expect to be able to buy it as a part unless it comes back on the trucks rolling off the assembly line.

I was curious if there was a part number stamped on my panel (2025 lariat) and it’s different than other part numbers I’ve seen mentioned here or in other posts: N1WT-19J289-CF

This kit appears to have the exact pins OP used. I've tried to find individual ones that are the exact same style but no luck. Unfortunately you'll have 428 pins left over when you're done lol. Going to be ordering this set and trying to tackle it - seems easy enough.

I’d have to look but I did find some pins

I did find some from digikey or Newark. Along with the boots.🥾

although I’m not sure what the exact pin looks like.

it wasn’t clear to me if the boot is crimped on which is one type of pin, or simply pushed in, which is another type of pin.

and different types of crimp tools also.

i spent more time on it than was healthy so I’m trying to put it all behind me. 🤣

These appear to be Yazaki connectors. Good thing I have several gauges of terminals and sizes of wire seals left over from my GMC, which uses the same type for the aux switches. I'll have to give them a try.

Terminal: https://mou.sr/3U2rMPc
Wire Seal: https://mou.sr/3WP2DHx

Of course I went overkill on my 12v wiring and did silicone 12 gauge, which is massive compared to those terminals. I'll either need to size down wiring, or redo my harness I built
