Hi,

Anyone has ever done it themself and is there somewhere I could tap into for the current? Obvisouly I could run a wire through the firewall. I did it on my old car back in the days but I had to poke a hole in a water tight rubber seal... I'm looking for a cleaner way to add heated pads underneed the seat fabric.

Thanks.

you might be prewired for heated seats. check the truck side of the plug, see how many wires there are, then see if you have the same amount of wires on the seat side of the plug.

Ford also already has provisions in the firewall boots for customer run wires. I have multiple wires ran through them.

Oh wow didn't know about the grommet. Thank you for that info. For the wire side of thing, when you say seat side you mean the gray connector under the driver seat? and for the truck side you mean out of the engine bay fuse box?

no. the seat plug under the seat. the truck side is the side the seat plugs into. seat side is attached to the seat.

like the bed 110v panel in my 25, on the truck side of the plug there are 6 wires, and on the power panel side there is 4. I dont have 12v in the bed. but the truck has it at the plug.

or my mirrors, they are non heated mirrors, no turn signals, or puddle lights, yet I am pree wired at the mirror plug in the door for all 3.

Well hopefully I get all that I'll check it tomorrow ! Only issue left would be to reattach the fabric to the seat cushions.

I checked under the bed and I have wayyy too many wires I don't even know how comes I have so many available that are on the truck side but not on the bed side. Same thing goes for the seat. In the bed I have all the same wires as you but I have the budget baller ranger with the STX only. Does that mean I have the 110V?! check that out:

do you have the bed power panel, or is it blank? the bundle of wires wrapped in orange is the high voltage power cables

I have the blank (plastic cover). I removed it no wiring behind it like the 2025 from what I red. So I would have the 110 wiring but I guess I need the inverter? I saw somewhere that it is supposed to be under the driver seat?

I wonder how much more power the alternator could handle. I checked in the engine bay but nowhere it says its capacity nor model. Same goes for the owner manual...
