AMBER DRL ISSUE QUESTION

Again trying to save coin I ordered from eBay.
Picked up a set of the Amber DRL boards and tackling that as I type. I finally wrestle the first one out and having an issue with the new one not fitting. The old one (white) has 3 locating pins and a screw hole. The new one (amber) has only two pins holes and one screw hole.

Do I grind the pin off of the module? Drill a hole in the new board? Or send them back?

Anyone else run into this?

Yes this is known. Seems to be a difference between the US models vs the overseas models. Just snap off the extra post as it’s not needed

Did you get the ones that were shipped from China? How long did it take? Were they like $93 thank you.

Yes. From “China” via eBay.

A little over two weeks. Paid about $140

In case anybody is wondering, I just bought a set from signature lux and the paid they sent me actually has the 3 holes in them so you don’t need to break any of the pins off.

I like having that option just in case something break then I can put back the stock set and try to get it repaired under warranty.
