So I did the conversation yesterday and I can tell you it's easy and you don't need a flex drive, all you need is the bit and a 1/4 inch ratchet wrench. Take off both wheels, horns, fender liners. Done deal. Now it is tight but very doable.

Ehhh I’d recommend the flex drive. The more tools the merrier.

I had a flex drive and it made it harder IMO
I only used it for 1 screw per side and had another person who guided it onto the bolt. Kinda cheating but worked like a charm! I got these thumb screw craftsman tool but quickly realized my fingers didn’t have the power to turn it while my whole arm was contorted into the space.

Got mine done. Happy with how they turned out. Should have come this way from the factory. The pic of the board is thr passengers side oem board. It came out like that before I even attempted to disconnect it. The board solder points and glue points fell apart just unbolting the heat sink. This would eventually be a warranty claim or out of pocket as no way it would have lasted in that condition.
