I have a permanent rattle in mine but I know exactly what it is, has been doing it ever since I put it on my truck and all the other vehicles I had it on. Doesn't bother me. :p

Once the warm weather hit and I started driving with the windows open, I noticed a rattle from the rear end whenever I hit a bump. I checked the spare tire, brake calipers, and hitch. Everything seemed fine. Suspension seemed ok. I tried bouncing the rear of the truck and was able to replicate the noise. Turns out the shock bushings are bad. The truck is two years old with 76K highway miles, never abused. Seems a bit premature to have to replace shocks.

Haven't read whole thread, but if not resolved, check all your spots like stake pockets, etc. Simplest solution usually the best if you've ruled out all the suspension usuals...

If it's just the bushing, you shouldn't have to replace the whole thing, no?
