The rear should not change much if any, being a solid rear axle.
The front in theory should create a slightly softer ride, do to the added leverage on the suspension geometry created by pushing the wheels centerline 30mm further out.

I am running +30 on both of my RRs and both came with +55s as all Rangers do.
ā€˜Honestly I can’t tell any difference in ride.

Only thing I have seen effect ride in a negative or a firmness way, was a slightly firmer ride was experienced with the 10 ply tires, still very minimal if pressures are set for weight of the truck.
The big one I see effect ride firmness is weight on the truck, in the bed.

ā€˜My 24 model has a very heavy steel rack, and toolbox full of heavy tools and gear. Probably close to 500 lbs on her back all the time. That trucks rides stiffer then my 25 RR stock or now with the topper, the 25 is still lighter and still rides smoother.
Appreciate the input. Im leaning Roush wheels.

not sure if you are selling your OEM Raptor wheels and tires? Another guy here is. Will the OEM stock tires and wheels from the Raptor fit on a stock XLT FX4 set up? Or would you need a lift? Wasn't sure of the offset difference. I assume these would not work as a one-on-one swap with no modification.

Offsets are both +55
ā€˜The concern aside from height of the tire rubbing, also the upper control arm clearance.
The Raptor tire is 285 where stock is 255 20mm =0.8 inches wider.
ā€˜Might need a wheel spacer and a level kit of some sort to clear them well.

I have never tried it, just based on what I have seen and read in some other threads on here a 265/70R17 might be a better choice in tire for a stock XLT With any of the OE Ford Ranger +55 offset rims.

I imagine someone that has actually tried it might chime in here for more definitive answers.

Getting there. One of the new Roush wheels is chipped. Told the installer use that as the spare.

Honestly the wheels on the Raptor and the XLT FX4 are somewhat similar to me. Color and basic design. If I do anything it will be to bump the tire up just one size for a little more height and width and stay within the stock rims. I know plenty have done that with no mods. I'll do it after the stock tires wear some lol.

That is what I am planning to do as well with my new business trucks.
Run them for 20-30K till most of the good is wore off and upgrade them with a better slightly larger tire at that point.
Either 265/70R18s or 275/65R18S is what I am thinking.

Same boat. After these terrible goodyears I'll put toyo open country AT II. I dont need the RT..since mostly highway with little off-road. Ill go a size up as well to 265/75 or whatever the next step up is.

I’m running 0 offset, seems more firmly planted. Off road and trucks are much better with a taller sidewall. 20 look cool no doubt, but the ride suffers
