Purchased with or added post purchase, has anyone installed the ford ranger console safe? Pics? Experience?

No first hand experience, but the center console space is already very tiny, a safe will make that even less usable. Where would you put your other personal stuff that no longer fits inside?

I dig the utility, but as someone that's experienced a concussion from being rear ended: this looks like a TBI waiting to happen

I have the safe vault that goes under the rear passenger seat bench. Pretty well made. Big enough for a standard female purse or small firearm

I also went with the vault under the rear seat on the passenger side. Well made, pretty roomy and very easy to install.

You should search previous posts because the center console one I read was nearly unusable because it’s so small.

On my watch list would be for a "safe" that only has the flat, top door, portion...the thought being there is already a lined with plastic space under the back seat passenger side I just need to restrict access to it. A lockable door is all that is really required; the box part of the safe being redundant.

I did the Ford Console Vault in a 2024 Ranger Raptor. Link to directions online did not work but it was only bolting on two side flaps and 4 self tapping screws to secure to exising console. Its pretty small but fits a Sig P365X handgun and a couple of Mags. Anything larger than a Glock 19, good luck....

For the 2024 Raptor Ranger I had to buy it from an online Ford OEM parts website. Console Vault said no to selling me one direct.
