Backseat protector for dogs

Hi all- Hoping to see some photos of what product you guys might be using to haul your furballs around in the back seat.

I picked up a 40 dollar hammock one off amazon, that my dog hates, my old one from my equinox they dont make anymore which I could get her to sleep in on rides.

In this truck she stands almost the entire time and rarely sits down and has laid down once for 10 seconds, she just paces. I think its more the seat itself in reality.

Just looking for ideas/link on something different before I spend some money on my co-pilot in the back and my sanity.

Hey Casenut98! Great looking dog you have there. I bought THIS one from Amazon and my dogs enjoy being able to lie down on long drives. It has a solid bottom instead of the hammock . I've had it for about six months and it seems to be holding up alright. It folds up and stores in its carrying bag when I need to use the back set for two legged passengers.

Yeah these hard bottomed hammocks are my favorite solution. The one I have has a fairly slippery surface, so I also have a thin soft dog bed that fits it.

Thanks all! i think im going to try the hard surface flat bottom one and see what happens. I do think she doesnt like the angle to sleep on, the equinox seats were much deeper and flatter compared to this i feel like.

I can get a bench cushion from menards to put on top of it or even an old blanket to experiment with again, as ive tried that with what i have currently and its been a no-go.

I love the furball, but the stress panting in my ear drives me bonkers

- Extra Window Shading on back windows to keep back seat cool
- Cooling Fans to keep back seat area cool
- Temperature sensors for each side of the back seat area
- Collapsable Dog Stairs to ease the dog (and my back) getting dogs in and out of the back seat

We often drive long distance through very hot locals, thus the cooling and temperature stuff.

I like the screens! I need some stairs, she wont jump in or out after a incident as a pup when she got hurt. I do have a small usb fan as well. Plus window vents and the remote start helps as well.

I have these door protectors, they work great for the drool.

I've tried dog covers in the past with my solid white husky and its usually just a night mare for me to clean.
I'm going to try these...its essentially just a towel that also goes over the head rest with rubber like material on the inside so it doesnt slip. Also has cutouts for seat belts. Just remove it and throw it in the washing machine like a normal towel.

Works great. The headrest straps are a bit long. Our lab and boxer love this thing. The center mesh lets the AC thru to keep them cool. The carrying case makes it easy to store when you allow humans in the back seat.

I definitely would like to have the fold up stairs to save my back.
