I'm bailing too, really need a 179 write-off this year, and my Ranger is not scheduled yet so there is no hope. I'm looking at Gladiators, they are running some great discounts right now....

Actually think the Canyon is a really nice looking truck and I almost picked up an AT4X. At the end of the day I couldn't get past some of the missing features like power rear window and LED taillights. Waiting for the Ranger definitely requires patience though. Anyway, the Canyon is an awesome alternative.

I feel your frustration because I tried to order a 2023 Lariat in February and couldn't. I ended up deciding to wait for the RR which I ordered the day the banks opened.

We don't have any truck and we're doing a lot of DIY on two different properties. If I was better informed I'd have bought a Canyon in January when I first started seriously looking at trucks and planned to trade it in on the RR when I finally get it.

I bailed on my Ranger order. Ordered June 1st no VIN no build date. With all that’s going on and them being almost 3000 units behind on orders, I just can’t wait until whenever next year for it. My current Ranger is a lease and I’ve had to extend it. They give them in 2 month increments and I’ve used one. I took it to the dealer last night and gave it back. I don’t want to deal with having to put cash into something that I’m literally renting lol. I found a GMC Canyon Elevation that I really took a liking to and I snagged it last night.

Did the same, but still got Raptor on order might buy and turn it for profit. Been on order since 26 May, I used to get the 45 day updates, but not anymore.

You could just give up your order to someone who wants the truck instead of contributing to the scalping problem.

Or I can be a businessmen and buy it and sell for 10k over price. Then payoff my GMC. Can’t make money giving things away for free.

What would be worse is generously letting someone else have your order and they turn it around and make $15k off it.

Test drove a Chevy Colorado z71. I really liked the way it rode. I’m downsizing from a 2008 f150 to a midsized. I’m almost taken back now because I can’t stop thinking about that Colorado. Might have to bail from my lariat order as well…
