We've been having way too much fun in Baja and wanted to share how the the @AmericanAdventureLab rack has performed flawlessly. Integrated chase lights, ROAM cases and the new AAL Starlink Mount inside.

Just added AAL Fuel Can holder since range is, by far, the #1 complaint off-roading.

I posted the rest of the build earlier if anyone has questions about the portals, Foutz Motorsports protections, etc.

By far the best vehicle I've ever owned.

Are you running portals on this rig?

Yup! @74weld portals, 2.3" longer Eibach springs up front, @foutzmotorsports bump stops and skid plates.

KNINE fenders on order and hope to have them installed and painted by mid-January.

You never fail to present challenges! I love it. I can absolutely count on Ian coming in with a good punchlist of things to create out of thin air and then, dynamically adding at least two items to that list when we dig into it! 😂

Seriously, though, the challenges of building the perfect vehicle (for a given purpose) is what keeps us going. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your rig! We truly appreciate it.

love the truck! I went back and forth on getting those KNINE fenders. They look awesome. Should make the trucks with portals look way better.

As you can see from damaged front wheel wells, we desperately need them even with Foutz bump stops. I'm not sure the cost is worth the "visual" upgrade but hopefully they provide requisite clearances and then help with rock, sand and mud spray as well.

I'll be sure to post once complete.

yea the price was steep lol. I couldnt justify it for pretty much just looks at this point of how my truck is. But they are carbon and really cool and i think will definetly help with your issues.

What light bar are you running on the OEM bumper? I have a set of driving and fogs sitting in a box that I never installed in the Bronco I traded.

That's the Foutz Motorsports bar. Top notch. Widely used by others and has worked flawlessly for my rig.

What happened to your fender flare in the front?

The report from some knowledgeable observers was that we got about 4' in the air and then gravity took over.

But we were having some rubbing before that especially at super low speed like turning into a gas station or parking lot (since the Live Valve shocks go full soft at that point).

So, KNine fenders on order. Should be installed mid-January and will post.

I'm surprised that you are still rubbing with the portals and the taller springs. I would think you have all kinds of clearance. What size tires and offset wheels are you running?

I want to duplicate your 3-rail rack and case set-up. What parts do I need? I found AAL’s three racks…do they mount to spacers under the plastic bed rail? Which cases are those that seem to fit tailor-made for the rack spacing? Any special mounting hardware required?

Thanks in advance!

Falken R/T-01 37" x 12.5" on Method +25 rims. The rubbing was at the back of the fender well so the bump stops don't really help. RR just weren't meant to have 37" tires on them.
