BAKFlip 4 hard folding tonneau cover for 2026 Ranger Lariat

I noticed the BAKFlip 4 tonneau cover currently is not compatible with with the 2026 Ranger. Has Ford made some modifications to the bed rails. Will BAKFlip 4 be updated to accommodate the 2026 Ranger?

Yes they have I think Real Truck said it will be about a month for them to update them.

I saw on post on this site where someone posted great pics. The rail cap is more flush on the current models.

I have the Bakflip MX4 on my 25 and it leaks soooo bad. I returned it for another, same leaks. If you want water protection look elsewhere. I'm going to try and add some better weather stripping but I wish I went with a different cover. I have one on my 2019 truck and it didn't leak but after 4 years the rubber started cracking and the powder coat started flaking off. I wouldn't have bought another but this was supposed to be new and improved (yeah right).
