Any suggestions on how to black out the chrome “XLT”? Seems pretty small for vinyl wrap, I was thinking about plasti-dip. Any pictures? Or other suggestions? I have seen the all black ones on the FORD website but have the F150-LEDS lights in there that I want to keep.

Plasti-Dip never weathers well. I’m planning on painting my vents Magnetic (J7) - I believe that’s the colour that will match the bumpers and wheel trim. I have a lariat, and the leading edge of the vents is already Magnetic (?). I believe the XLTs have gloss black, is that correct? You have a couple options.

I like the look of the LEDs you have there. I’ll likely add that when I have the vents off.

They are more of a matte textured finish.

I used Plasti-Dip on a former truck and it weathered well in our Florida weather, never had any issue.

Thanks, I’m going to try that.

You can pop the letters off and sand then down, prime, and paint them black. That's what I am planning on doing soon. They are just secured on with two sided tape.

Thanks! You wouldn't happen to have the part # for the front valance in Black under the front bumper that replaces the silver one. The black one is part of the BAP.

I will need to look. Only some parts have been loaded for the 2025s. If I can find it, I'll post.

I finally got around to removing the chrome XLT letters and painted them Matte Black. I think they came out pretty good.

Do the letters just pop out and snap back in without anything?

They are attached with two sided tape from the factory. You have to pry them off which was easy. Then clean the tape off the back of the letters and the fender. Sand and paint them. Then add new two sided tape to the letters and stick them back on.
