Black Residue from Muffler

Noticed a black spot on my parking stall. Looked under the truck and I see black residue on the muffler. Looks like it’s coming from the weep hole.

Is this normal? Never noticed this until today. 28k miles. 24 XLT FX4 2.3l

Yes this is completely normal. Nothing to worry about, though it can be a bit frustrating if you park on a concrete driveway like myself.

Yep. Normal. Condensation draining through muffler weep hole. I keep a piece of cardboard under my truck just to catch this dirty muffler water.

Dealing with this on mine, I have a 2.7 and run 93 and it makes it a little worse depending on place of fuel up looking to replace exhaust after I pay it off or bend the tailpipe off-road
