This will be an ongoing problem for Ranger because the 2.7L Bronco and base F150 are very profitable products. Ford is likely giving up free money when they put a 2.7L engine in a Ranger.Today's scheduling post for September builds included that the 2.7L engine availability is exhausted, so if you're not scheduled yet you might be getting a 2025. Since the availability wasn't limited at the end of scheduling for August they're either using up all of them in September or they've diverted them to other models.
Where can you view these scheduling posts ??Today's scheduling post for September builds included that the 2.7L engine availability is exhausted, so if you're not scheduled yet you might be getting a 2025. Thank you very much - so I presume this means no new orders for a 2.7 truck ? Is there a time frame this usually applies to ...................... or is it "until further notice" type of thing ?
Thanks again- anyone have a good guess when 2025 production will start ? Not sure buying a late 2024 when it can techically be a year old in a short amount of time is the best way to go ?You can ask in the other thread if anyone knows for sure, but at this stage I would expect that's it for 2024s because if they keep production going much longer they'll have 24s arriving on dealer lots in 25. Otherwise keep an eye out for the 2025 announcement, if the 2.7 is listed (hopefully it will be), and if it says late availability (like it did this year).
