Has anyone mounted chase lights on the bed bulkhead? Especifically using the two threaded holes (one on each side).

That was an option I was considering. But then I added a tonneau cover so I went a different rout. But it is totally doable and easy.

So you can be seen in dusty conditions.

Just adding on, you really want to run flood beams or marker lights instead of spot beams here. The point is to be seen by the people behind you, not blind them.

Well when conditions get like this you may want a combo spot as it cuts through shit like this... I run the Nano scene and they seem to be a good balance with a lot of lumens for their size and the amber is true.

That second picture shows 2 trucks. The one that you can see is ahead of the one you can't (with the red arrow). He has very weak lights.

And Amber works much better than BD yellow.

Yup there is. This one... With the tiny lights.

The advantage to having bright lights on the truck in front of you is you can use them to help determine the terrain that you are about to encounter by how they move. When you lose sight of the truck in front (with weak lights) you have to increase distance and slow down for safety reasons. You then become the lead truck for anyone behind. It's a pain in the ass.

I think they are tiny BD lights.

The first set you posted look promising. I bet the lumen output at 4200 is raw output. So 2000 raw lumens per light and 1600 effective lumen output. Still pretty good especially for the price.

Aha! Had never heard of them, other than on this forum.
Same concept as rear fog lights, which I wish were required by law...
