I had my valance vinyl wrapped with matte black today.

I was looking at doing this, how hard was it to remove, hard to tell but did you remove both pieces, I have been doing some research and looks like you have to remove a lot of these plastic pins, I am worried about breaking them, was it OK to do, thanks

I didn’t take it off, I bought my truck to one of our local vinyl wrap guys. He did it on the truck while I waited, took about 1.5 hours. I got 3 prices, $150, 200 & 250. I went with the $150 guy and it has held up fine for about 9 months now.

Wrapped last August, still looks perfect.

Plastidiped the valance and skid plate 6 months ago. Holding up great.

First post. Thanks for the valuable information on the forum.

I wrapped the silver lower valence and silver front skid (bash) plate using “KPMF K75400 Matte Perfect Black Vinyl Wrap”.

The black plastic piece directly above the valence does not need to be removed. The valence has five 10mm bolts on the bottom which are easy to locate. The trick is two T25 screws which are hidden. Once you know that they are there, you can locate them with your fingertip and fairly easily get a driver bit on them. I attached a photo with the screw boss circled in green (that is the valence).

I wrapped the sensors separately which only took a couple minutes.

The skid plate is 4 15mm bolts. I read a trick to just loosen the rear with did help with reassembly.
