Priority numbers typical 20~80 are for dealer stock and on the back burner. Retail are 10 ~20 and have higher priority, closer to 10 being better. Orders 9 or under can be requested by regional managers only. Some exceptions would be what parts are available so not always will the lower number be first. In most cases a dealer stock will be 40 or higher ( maybe 20) retail seem to be often 12 +- a couple.
My order sheet says priority 03.

So I’m in a Facebook group for the Raptor Ranger and someone who claims they can give me an order at MSRP says the RR isn’t an allocated vehicle. He claims that he can put in as many orders as he wants. Is this guy full of it? He’s from the Boston Region.
Im on the fence and don’t know if I want my RR, checked out a 2023 F150 Tremor loaded and the dealer will discount. I can flat tow it. If I decide not to keep mine I will keep my order in and make a deal if anyone that wants it.

05 for me. Not sure what that means exactly.
What's a priority number? When you do a custom order from Ford each order is given a priority number. The lower the number means the sooner it will get built.

That’s kind of a misinterpretation. The lower the number the higher priority your order has at the dealer. Meaning if you have a 06 your truck will be pulled before a 12 at that same dealer. However it doesn’t change when Ford assigns an allocation to a dealer. So an 09 at one dealer can get built before an 03 at a second dealer if the first dealer gets allocated and pulled first.

The Dealers responses are all over the place, I have a $500 deposit on a Black RR that as per the sales manager mine is the next one he will receive. He claims to have one in build now. So far the best information comes from the magic 8 ball.

Doesn’t provide any confidence in purchasing from Ford. That’s for sure.

He can put in as many order as he wants, but he will never get them.

Raptors are and have always been a limited allocation vehicle.

He's just trying to stockpile people to keep them from going to other dealers. And when yours never gets built, he'll try to switch you to something else.

The non-integrity and ignorance or both of so many of these dealers is sickening.

A dealer can put in 1000 Raptor orders a day into the bank. But the dealer needs allocations for their orders to be built. If a dealer has 20 Raptor orders in their bank, but they only get 5 allocations for 2024, 15 people are SOL and will get pushed to 2025.
100% it's a way for them to lock you to them while knowingly fing you over.

I would be surprised if raptors get any protection. Pretty sure they will have a Red window sticker and that generally also disqualifies them from Plan pricing as well. its different ball game than standard vehicles.

Svt unit. No price protection, special allocation model, limited production vs other series.

My crappy dealer said they’re only getting one and charging $25K over sticker.

I’m all for capitalism but that is just abuse. Can’t believe Ford lets this happen.
