My issues is the interior is too small but I feel like when you go smaller you have a trade off. I was hoping at least better fuel economy.. but its almost the same which blows my hair back.
f150 probably had a fuel tank twice the size the ranger does. or are you only looking at your mpg/ L/100km? my old 2008 ranger 3.0 v6 rwd on a tank at 75Ltrs would get almost 400kms... the 2019 f150 i had as a rental had a 150ltr tank, and half a tank was 380 kms... but because the truck could drive nearly 800 kms. clearly the ranger used more fuel and was shit is the mentality why the ranger left here.... Of course a f150 f150 with a 150ltr tank will go twice as far as a ranger with a 75ltr tank... that f150 also cost teice as much to fill. ??‍♂

my new 25 2.3 ranger with a 78ltr tank gets almost 600kms to a tank on eco mode and not walking on it everywhere I go....

LOL - yes, when you come from a sedan, 20MPG seems poor. Besides, it's the only thing I can complain about. Love everything else about this truck!!

Did you not know you were buying a truck? Did you read the window sticker? Did you not know trucks don’t get sedan mpg? Like for real

Your still incorrect and unable to have a civil debate
Civil debate? You said his thoughts aka opinions are incorrect. Yet you clearly don’t know what an opinion is so there can be no civility when you don’t even understand the inherent nature of a conversation with opinions

I don’t know about the 2.7 but my ranger raptor is definitely worse than the 3.5 f150. I average 15/17 in raptor and 17/22 in my 3.5. It’s the only thing I hate about the raptor.
I mean that’s apples to oranges. Different tires, weight, bigger engine to name a few.

One interesting side note on mileage: the F150 weighs around 4,900lbs while the Ranger weighs in at about 4,200lbs. (F150 with aluminum body vs Ranger with steel body) . . . About a 15% difference. Both my old F150 and my Ranger have 2.7L twin turbos . . . So one would expect, all else
being equal, the Ranger should have about 15% ish better mileage, which is about what I am experiencing!

2025 ranger also has a 78Ltr tank, while the f150 has a 150ltr tank... almost twice the distance to a tank, but also twice the cost. but same ish kilometres. half a tank of the f150 is the same liters used as a ranger will use because the f150 tank is twice as big

Wow! Where did this guy come from? Seems to think all the intelligence in the world was only handed out to him!
Buddy, chill out! Not bashing the truck, just saying mileage could be better. ?

lol mileage could be better? Yea if you dropped 1000 lbs gave it a smaller engine and called it a Maverick! Chill out? I’m plenty chill just find it hilarious you complain about 20mpg city which is better than the window sticker in a 4000lb twin turbo truck. Don’t tell me you actually think Eco in Ecoboost meant it was great on gas?

Does it actually make it better? I find my milage goes up
I’ve found that there is almost negligible difference in my 24 2.7 w/Fx4 when I drive in Eco or Sport

I'm not very old, I'm turning 60 in a couple of months. Having spent 34 years in the carpenters union, I have plenty of thick skin and aggressiveness but that is not why I'm here. I am looking for interesting interactions and intelligent conversation.
Then you need to examine the definition of civil. No one has been uncivil to you and yet you feel they have. They just didn't agree with you is all, so stop it.

Damn you really need to look up some definitions. Civil, Argue. Pointing out something that is visible to all isn’t an argument!

Interesting. I have / had US version of both. The 150 had a “practical” tank volume of about 19 gallons (~78L), and the Ranger about 17 gallons (~65L). Yours built with longer range than the US versions! I get between 375-425 miles (~600-690Km) on one tank on the highway on both.

I am guessing you are near or in Australia?
