Hi guys! I know this place is mostly for petrol Raptors and you may not be a big fan of the diesel Euro version but I have a Diesel 2.0 ecoblue Raptor and I was just wondering how many of you have one aswell!
BTW, after giving it 10.000 hard km I can say that I like it and I don't regret not getting the petrol version (yet).
I think this engine has a big potential. I think it could easily reach 300 hp while still being reliable and low in consumption at light throttle.
However there are still no aftermarket parts.
The first step would be to unlock the ECU for tuning and AFAIK there is some australian guy who did it... isnt it? Is it posible to do this remotely?
The next step would be to delete DPF and EGR systems along with a downpipe and a straight pipe. That alone would be enough to let it breath much better enough to tell a difference.
Is there anyone knowledgeable enough to do this work or develop this as a future selling product?
If it has been done in a petrol Raptor, you should be able to replicate this on a diesel Raptor.
Why nobody has done this on the 5g Raptor yet? I truly think it has a lot of potential. The engine is great TBH!!
