Hey!
After several months of use - are you still happy?
Does the chip give any error codes, check engine lights, or is it not being problematic at all?

RaceChip has a discount now, on the other hand ECU was finally "unlocked" by tuners and ECU remap is possible.

Race chip isn't a tune, Ford Procal tune is

true, yet procal is unavailabvle for 2.0 ecoblue engine, different ECU running on sid212.
So far the only products for this were piggyback box-type chips.
ECU was unlocked recently by a tuner garage in Belgium

Previous generations of 2.0 ecoblue "panther" engines also had different maps included in stock driver, which had to be switched by Forscan (maps for different cars using same engine).
Maps were available for turbo and biturbo engines.
I'm not sure if that functionality was copied also to ranger's ECU.

man, it would be nice to have the diesel engine. a buddy has a half ton chevy diesel and gets 36mpg on the highway. i bet the ranger gets similar mileage.

It has pros and cons, with wet timing belt being the second. It is economic though - on a road, driving speed limit at 90km/h ~56 mph with a cruise control it is not a problem to get to 38-40mpg. Normal town-driving is around 33mpg. If you push it will go to 20 tops.

This is in a 2.0 single turbo diesel, 125kw, 6-speed manual on 265/70/17.

wow, thats awesome gas mileage!!!!!

the timing belt is hte only thing that bothers me because i have not seen how in-depth it is to change it yet. i have done lots of timing belts on other vehicles, some bmw diesels too, so i am not dead scared of it but....

either way, that is sweet that you get that mileage. i would take that in a second as mileage is super important to me because driving anywhere in texas is measured in hours, not miles. its a day to drive from one border to the other at 70mph when crossing texas, east to west or vice versa.
