Is it just me or do the doors seem to take more effort to close than they should. Me and others who have ridden in my truck have noticed it. Coming from F-150 and Super Duty, both of which close with ease.

I've started to notice that more, I think its the seals or the vacuum it creates is not escaping through the vents that are usually in the back of the cab. My 06 f250's doors were easy to close.

My driver's door is the most difficult one shut. My diagnosis is the cab is pretty airtight because if I crack a window it closes with ease. I have read on here that some people have removed the Styrofoam sheet from between the cab and bed and that fixed the issue. I haven't tried that yet.

I have that same problem with my doors. Will try the styrofoam removal.

Its pretty common issue across all the 6g rangers.

I saw several review videos that discuss it. Edmunds comes to mind where they had like 20 people use it over a years time and many had this as an issue for them.

No issue with the front doors - but the rears take some effort. The 2019 Ranger had light weight doors - finally got the wife to close the back ones softly instead of slamming them then traded it in for the 2024 Ranger and she has to go back to slamming the rear doors (2 kids in car seats, so constantly opening/closing rear doors).

Noticed the door seal on the bottom rear of the back doors was sticking up bit, looks like it's a bit too small to fit the frame correctly and gets pulled up and interferes with closing it. Push it back down and door closes fine, but it stretches back up every day.

Mine does it also, i usually click the door then push it for the final clicking and locking,
it is a pita that it just doesn't close normally .
I will check that seal at the rear doors, thanks for mentioning.
